Actually, Beijer Douane Expediteurs have always been carrying out customs formalities. The basis for this specialism was laid at the founding in 1946 and throughout the years it has kept pace with all the developments. In the sixties and seventies we had seven customs offices. When in the nineties, the EU was abolished, the customs offices were closed. The employees and thereby the specific knowledge skills remained and were integrated in our company.

Wat is het verschil tussen T1 en EUR.1?
Een T1 is een transit-document voor goederen die door de EU reizen zonder ingeklaard te zijn. Een EUR.1 is een certificaat van oorsprong dat preferentieel invoertarief (vaak 0%) bewijst voor goederen met EU-oorsprong, onder handelsverdragen zoals het EU-VK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. Beijer verzorgt beide.
Wat kost douaneafhandeling bij Beijer?
Beijer rekent één vast tarief per zending voor de complete douaneafhandeling. Aanvullende kosten zijn alleen mogelijk bij specifieke certificaten (EUR.1 levering, A.TR document) of bij grondige fysieke douaneonderzoeken. Vraag een offerte aan voor het actuele tarief.
Wat zijn Incoterms en welke past bij mij?
Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) zijn standaardafspraken over wie welke kosten en risico's draagt bij internationaal transport, de verkoper of de koper. Bekende voorbeelden: EXW (koper regelt alles), FCA (verkoper levert aan vervoerder), DAP (verkoper draagt tot lossingsadres), DDP (verkoper inclusief douanerecht). Beijer adviseert per zending welke Incoterm past.
Verzorgt Beijer ook douaneafhandeling voor zendingen die niet door Beijer worden vervoerd?
Ja. Beijer Internationale Expediteurs verzorgt ook stand-alone douanediensten voor zendingen die door andere vervoerders worden uitgevoerd. Voor opdrachtgevers met eigen transport of bij ad-hoc-zendingen biedt onze douane-afdeling deze service apart aan.
Wat is een EORI-nummer en heb ik dat nodig?
Een EORI-nummer is een uniek identificatienummer voor bedrijven die douane-aangifte doen of laten doen binnen de EU. Voor incidentele importzendingen kan Beijer onder ons eigen EORI-nummer aangifte doen. Voor regelmatige importeurs wordt aangeraden een eigen EORI aan te vragen bij de Belastingdienst.
Wat doet een douane-expediteur?
Een douane-expediteur verzorgt namens importeurs en exporteurs alle douaneformaliteiten voor goederen die de EU-grens passeren: uitvoeraangifte (T1, EX), invoeraangifte, transit-documenten, oorsprongscertificaten (EUR.1, A.TR), berekening van invoerrechten en btw, en communicatie met de douane. Beijer is gecertificeerd douane-expediteur sinds tientallen jaren.
Wanneer heb ik een douane-expediteur nodig?
Voor zendingen van of naar landen buiten de EU: Verenigd Koninkrijk, Noorwegen, Zwitserland, Turkije, Servië, Bosnië-Herzegovina, Noord-Macedonië, Albanië, Montenegro, Kosovo en alle landen buiten Europa. Voor zendingen binnen de EU is een douane-expediteur niet nodig (intracommunautair vervoer).
